The company CEO was welcoming this year's new employees, all very recently hired, at a fancy luncheon. The affair was proceeding nicely and the CEO took to the microphone to address the crowd. "We welcome you to our company," he began, "and a knowledge that you are now employed with the best and brightest wizards in our industry. Our company is lean and progressive. We move swiftly and surely to take advantage of a rapidly changing market. Our executive staff has hired you to join us in producing new products in new ways. You fresh people at the bottom of our organization need to adopt a nimble attitude in order to work here. Right down to the last person at the very bottom of the organizational chart, we don't tolerate bottlenecks! So welcome, and are there any questions or comments?" A fresh young face arose and said, "In my limited experience with bottles, sir, I've always found the neck to be at the top."
